Facebook Video Download
Paste a link to a public Facebook video, reel or watch post. The video plays here first so you can check it, then you choose HD, SD or audio only.
Example: facebook.com/reel/XXXXXXXXXXX
Save a Facebook video in three steps
There's nothing to install. Everything happens in this browser tab.
Copy the link
On Facebook, open the video and tap Share, then Copy link. On a computer you can also copy the address straight from the browser bar.
Paste and preview
Drop the link into the box above and tap Get Video. The clip loads in the player so you can confirm it's the one you want.
Pick a format and save
Choose HD or SD video, or keep just the soundtrack as an MP3. The file is pulled directly from Facebook's servers in its original quality.
A downloader that stays out of your way
No pop-ups, no redirects, no sign-up wall. Paste a link, check the preview, save the file.
No login required
You never sign in to Facebook through this page, and the uploader isn't told that their video was saved.
HD when Facebook has it
If the uploader posted the video in HD, you'll see an HD option. Otherwise the best available SD version is offered.
Any shape, any length
Square posts, vertical reels and long landscape videos all keep their real proportions in the player, with nothing cropped.
Audio only, if you prefer
Need just the sound from a talk or a cooking video? Save the audio track as an MP3 in 128, 192 or 320 kbps.
Check before you save
Because the video plays here first, you won't end up with the wrong clip from a post that has several videos or a long comment thread.
Before you download from Facebook
A few practical tips and one important reminder about other people's content.
Only save what you're allowed to
Downloading a video doesn't give you the right to repost it. Keep downloads for personal use, or ask the creator before sharing them anywhere else.
Live videos need to finish first
A live broadcast can only be saved after it has ended and Facebook has processed the replay. Try again a few minutes after the stream stops.
Links from shared posts
If a friend shared someone else's video, open the original post and copy that link instead. It loads more reliably.
Saving on iPhone
On iOS, Safari keeps downloads in the Files app. Open Files, tap Downloads, then use Share to move the video into Photos.

No. Videos shared in private groups, to friends only or in Messenger chats need a logged-in account that has access. This tool only works with videos anyone can open.
No. The uploader receives no notification, and nothing about the download is linked to your account.
In the Facebook app tap the three dots or the Share button under the video and choose Copy link. In a browser, copy the URL of the video page.
No. The player reads the real width and height of every video and resizes itself to fit, so tall reels and wide videos are both shown in full.
You get the same resolution the uploader posted, usually up to 720p or 1080p. We don't recompress the file.
Yes, and there's no limit on how many videos you save. Ads on the site cover the running costs.
